Chocolate cake is a firm favourite in my family and chocolate cupcakes is certainly no exception. This Ferrero Cupcake recipe is both decadent and moist and will definitely become one of your favourite recipes as well.
Ferrero Rocher cupcakes
Ingredients
1 cup flour
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp bicarb
Half tsp baking powder
6 tbslp good quality cocoa powder
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 tsp hazelnut essence
1/4 cup hot black coffee
Method
Preheat oven to 180 deg.
Sift dry ingredients.
Make a well in the centre and beat in wet ingredients one at a time.
Mix well till combined.
Pour into cups and bake for 10 to 15 mins.
Nb.
Makes 12
Icing
120g soft butter
1/2 cup nutella
2 cups sifted icing sugar
Milk if needed
Method
Beat butter and nutella until smooth.
Sift in icing sugar little at a time.
Mix well. Add a little milk if required
Note:
I used an open star nozzle
And topped with ferreros
