The Real Housewives of New York City

Nothing gets me more addicted to tv than reality shows. The Real Housewives of New York City certainly got my vote as one of the most entertaining reality shows . Love them or hate them , the housewives certainly kept us entertained with their varied personalities.

My favourite on the show was Bethenny Frankel who has since had her own show , and has written a book. I loved her strong ” don’t mess with me ” attitude and this was evident when she took on Kelly on the show. Bethenny is now married to Jason Hoppy and the have a beautiful baby girl called Bryn. There is no stopping Bethenny as her  empire grows with new projects on the rise.

Some of my favourite pics of Bethenny :

“Heavy doses of style and inspirations without distractions in the new Sisley collection for spring summer 2012: the common denominator is a vaguely Seventies atmosphere worked in a melting pot of styles and colours.”

As we constantly search for inspiration and direction we stumble across designers with effortless style that tranlates into fluid feminine lines and warm colours. The Sisley Spring/Summer 2012 was refreshingly inspiring with the 70?s theme, georgette shirtwaisters, satin sheath dresses and lace prints.Continue reading

Zara to open its first store in Durban

The  Gateway Shopping Centre  in Kwazulu-Natal will become the newest home to  Zara  in South Africa when the first store in Durban opens on the 2nd of March 2012. This is the second one of its kind in South Africa. The Inditex Group’s store in Gateway Shopping Centre will be more than 1,700 square meters of retail space on a single floor and will occupy a coveted location in this prominent shopping mall.

Zara’s South African customers will find a revamped store image, with display areas and furnishings designed to convey a sense of simplicity and elegance. To create a light-filled environment, Zara’s design teams used materials such as resin and aluminium for furnishings and fittings and porcelain tiles for flooring. Neutral shades predominate in the store’s colour scheme, allowing Zara‘s fashions to take centre stage.

For shoppers in South Africa, Zara offers a customised range of apparel for women, men and kids. Its collections are tailored to the country’s climatic conditions in the Southern Hemisphere. Zara  sells the latest trends in garments and fabrics most appropriate for the season, and constantly refreshes its collections with new items being delivered to stores twice weekly.
