Banana loaf has always been a firm favourite in my home as it is not only tasty but one of those flop proof recipes that any novice baker would be happy to try.

I tried a banana and pineapple loaf recipe recently and was so happy with the results that it has now become one of my favourite recipes. It is rich and moist and the addition of the canned pineapple pieces gives this loaf a lovely taste.


4 mashed bananas
1 1/2 cups cake flour
2 tsp baking powder
2 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup pineapple pieces
( canned )

Combine all wet ingredients,

Add dry ingredients into the above .
Mix well.
Bake at 180deg for 35 – 40 min
